COURSE DESCRIPTION:   This Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) course is designed to prepare first responders, law enforcement, military personnel, and emergency medical professionals to provide lifesaving care in high-risk, dynamic environments. Based on the guidelines established by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, this course emphasizes evidence-based practices to improve survivability in tactical and mass casualty situations.

• Chest Seal/Needle Decompression
• Airway manipulation and Adjuncts

• Environmental Injuries-Hot & Cold
• CPR
• Practical Exercises/Scenarios

 

INSTRUCTIONAL GOAL:  The goal of this TECC course is to equip participants with the knowledge, decision-making ability, and hands-on skills required to effectively assess, stabilize, and manage self-care and or critically injured officers/deputies injured in the line of duty. By the end of the course, participants will have demonstrated the ability to perform rapid trauma assessments, apply life-saving interventions, and package officers for evacuation under stress, simulating real-world high-threat scenarios. Emphasis is placed on operating effectively within the phases of tactical care while adapting to environmental, operational, and situational challenges.
