Brian has been a combat medic in the Army for nearly a decade and a half. Inspired by his peers, Brian attained a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and became a certified Physician Assistant in 2006. Since then he has worked in numerous fields including Orthopedic Surgery and Emergency Medicine.
Due to a desire to work with the best this country had to offer, Brian proved himself capable of operating with US Army Special Forces. Since 2008, he has had the honor of serving in SF in multiple capacities, the most cherished of which is being deployed as a member of an ODA, working as a "medical enabler". Brian has had many unique opportunities which include working with Czech Special Forces, British Commandos, British Territorial Army in Gibraltar, Afghan National Police, Afghan National Army, and the Afghan Commandos. Since returning home from deployment, Brian has begun training local, state, and federal law enforcement officers in point of wounding trauma medicine. Most recently, he has worked as a Hollywood set medic on the latest Batman movie.
He has taken advantage of all the military training made available to him, including Special Forces Basic Combat Course, Airborne, Air Assault, Squad Designated Marksman, and Small Arms Instructor Range Operations Course, as well as the medical training which includes Advanced Trauma Life Support, Pre-hospital Life Support, Advanced Burn Life Support, Advanced Wilderness Life Support, and Pre-hospital Life Support. Brian’s goal is to take his training and experience and offer it to the civilian sector in order to help bridge the gap between military and civilian Emergency Medical Trauma Care.
